The founder, Ethan Olsen grew up on a farm and his interest in motors started from a young age, once he learned to drive tractors and farm equipment. He worked his way up in small repair shops and working with various fleets. Finishing school and becoming an ASE Certified technician; Ethan gained hands-on experience in a variety of diesel applications, including construction equipment, dealerships, and marine engines.

While working at other shops for years, he realized there was a gap in the Everett area for a top-notch diesel and offroad shop, that offered fair and reasonable pricing. After a few years, he decided to take the leap and open NW Diesel where he could provide the facilities and services he felt the PNW needed.
